Please Read These Guidelines Regarding CE Approval
Our CE approval list is in the drop-down menu below. Choose your state to see if we have CE 'specific board approval' which will show our CE approval # next to your state board or 'CE approval by virtue of another state board'. If the CE approval lists another state board, this board will be on your CE Certificate and will be recognized by your own state board.
Some boards approve ONLY 'certain courses' for CE's. If this is the case with your board, you will see a link to a category of approved CE courses that are specifically approved by your board. Follow this link for your CE approved specific courses.

- Adult Foster Home Trainings - CE Courses are approved by the Oregon Adult Foster Home Training Credit Committee for continuing education for APD, DD, and AMH.
AMH: At least 12 hours directly related to the care and services for persons with mental illness. Click here for our list of Oregon DHS CEs.
APD: At least 12 hours need to be related to the care of older adults or adults with physical disabilities in an adult foster home setting. Click here for our list of Oregon DHS CEs.
DD: At least 12 hours of department-approved training. Any courses on our approved list will be approved. Click here for our list of Oregon DHS CEs.
- Professional Counselors - Yes, The Oregon Board of Licensing for Counselors accepts our National Board for Certified Counselors Approval (NBCC). Click here to view the approved NBCC CEs.
- Psychologists - Quantum is not currently approved for Psychologists. For APA Approved Psychologist CE you can visit PsychCE.com
- Drug and Alcohol Counselors - Yes, The Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon accepts the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors #90567. Click here to view the approved NAADAC CEs.
- Marriage and Family Therapists - Yes, The Oregon Board of Licensing for Therapists accepts our NBCC approval. Click here for approved NBCC CEs.
- Nursing - Yes, The Oregon Board of Nursing accepts our CE approval with the California Board of Registered Nursing #CEP14537. Click here for approved Nursing CEs.
- Social Workers - Quantum Units Education, #1289, is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved as ACE providers. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Quantum Units Education maintains responsibility for this course. ACE provider approval period: 01/03/2023 - 01/03/2026. Only CE courses in this category meet ACE standards for social workers.

** Due to the Large Volume of State Licensing Agencies and the frequent changes these agencies make to their Rules and Regulations surrounding License Renewal and CE acceptance, if you do not see your license or credential listed we advise you to call your state licensing board and inquire 'if they will accept courses offered by a CE Provider that has been pre-approved by' one of the National or Major State 'Related' Agencies listed on our National's Page. In our experience many states will accept CE's approved by another state or national board.
