CE Course Description
Poverty is a pervasive issue across the United States that impacts many individuals and families every day. It can have a significant impact on health equity in a multitude of ways beyond just the lack of monetary funds to pay for health care services. This course will focus on how poverty uniquely and systemically impacts each of Healthy People 2030's five Social Determinants of Health, and it will identify strategies to improve upon existing service delivery systems.
