Nurses should understand the basics of the cardiac conduction system and be able to recognize various arrhythmias. They must know when to notify the provider of abnormalities, how to initiate an emergency response, and evidence-based nursing interventions to improve outcomes.

CEU Course Objectives

  2. Recognize various normal sinus rhythm and the most common arrhythmias
  3. Identify when to notify the provider and how to initiate an emergency response
  4. Review evidence-based nursing interventions to improve outcomes, including ACLS guidelines
