CEU Course Description
This course was developed from the National Institute on Aging pamphlet which describes: what Alzheimer’s disease is; the risk factors for Alzheimer’s disease; the search for Alzheimer’s prevention strategies; clues to Alzheimer’s prevention; and the path to developing new treatments.
CEU Course Objectives
1. Identify which of the apolipoprotein E alleles increases a person’s risk of getting Alzheimer’s disease.
2. Become familiar with how exercise impacts the development of Alzheimer’s disease.
3. Understand how the “Mediterranean diet” affects MCI and Alzheimer’s disease.
