Course Description

This basic course on HIV AIDS is taken from the Center for Disease Control. It covers basic aspects of this infectious disease such as Prevention, Treatment, Common Myths and Research. A very good overview for participants.

Course Objectives

1. Clearly describe the recommended methods for  prevention of HIV.

2. Discuss the available and most effective treatments available today for HIV/AIDS.

3. Effectively counter any Myths surrounding HIV/AIDS infection

4. List all the routes by which the HIV virus can be transmitted from one individual to another
