CE Course Description
This short CE Course is based on an updated research report by NIDA that highlights the state of the science between HIV and drug abuse. 

CE Course Objectives

1. Evaluate the role of HAART medication therapy for those with HIV, including its contributions and limitations.

2. Identify how drug abuse impacts the HIV epidemic and how this epidemic has changed over the last 30 years.

3. Discuss strategies to prevent and treat HIV in drug using populations, including recent research findings in these areas.

4. Describe the Seek, Test, Treat, and Retain approach to identify high risk populations and improve better outcomes for those with HIV and substance abuse issues.
