CEU Course Description

This CEU course provides an introduction to the risk, need, dosage, and responsivity principles espoused in the evidenced-based principles for community supervision.  Further, guidance will be provided on how tribal probation officers can incorporate the premise behind each principle into everyday practice.

CEU Course Objectives

1.  Enumerate what intensive interventions and supervision includes.

2.  Investigate the dynamic variables have been shown to have the strongest correlation to recidivism risk.

3.  Compare and contrast the risk, need, responsivity, an dosage principles and describe the focus of each.
