CEU Course Description
This course provides information on family strengthening research by reviewing programs designed around: supporting fatherhood; strengthening relationships; capacity building; nurturing children through families; family strengthening research for American Indian and Alaska Natives; and supporting positive youth development and reducing teen pregnancy.
CEU Course Objectives
1. Explain the beneficial outcomes of early childhood home visiting programs.
2. Examine the main topic areas that responsible fatherhood programs aim to provide resources and supports for the men that they serve.
3. Identify the dimensions of couples’ relationship functioning that could be modified or enhanced through relationship-focused educational programming.
