CEU Course Description

This CEU course details the critically important issue of program implementation by describing key implementation challenges in the context of evidence-based programs and presents research-based strategies that can be used to facilitate sound implementation in real-world settings.  This course is designed to help agencies achieve positive programming outcomes and realize the full potential of the evidence-based programs they adopt.

CEU Course Objectives

1.  Compare and contrast the stages of implementation and examine which stage is likely to consist of resistance to new ways of working with clients.

2.  Define implementation fidelity and describe how it relates to implementing evidence-based practices.

3.  Explain the process of identifying which practices work and the aspects that these practices rely on.

4.  Describe context, compliance, and competence as related to implementing evidence-based practices.
