CEU Course Description
This course provides a brief introduction to pathological gambling, gambling disorder, and problem gambling. Resources for additional information are also provided.
1. Differentiate between pathological gambling, gambling disorder, and problem gambling.
2. Identify the characteristics of problem gamblers, as well as links between problem gambling and other behavioral health problems.
3. Describe tools that are used to screen, assess, and diagnose gambling problems.
4. Discuss various treatment approaches have been researched and found to be useful in treating gambling problems.
