CEU Course Description

This CEU course offers information to help State child welfare professionals on the benefits, approaches, strategies, and examples for achieving family reunification and preventing reentry into out-of-home care.

CEU Course Objectives

1.  Discuss the key elements relating to child welfare systems, infrastructure, and casework practice.

2.  Explain the techniques and justification of reunification and post-reunification strategies.

3.  Identify the phases of family interaction planning that spell out the goals of parent-child visits while children are in out-of-home care.
