This option applies to the majority of our participants.

Standard CEU Hours: 17
Standard CEU Cost: $51.00

This option 'only' applies to those participants who will be submitting their certificates directly to NBCC (National Board of Certified Counselors) for license renewal. All others will use Standard CEU Hours.

Course Description:

This course is of value to all audiences, including therapists, counselors, healthcare workers, social service providers, clergy, teachers, and criminal justice personnel. Teaches invaluable techniques for use when time with patients and clients is limited. Discussed are the basic elements of Brief Therapies, techniques used in a clinical setting and the various components of a Brief Intervention. Although the therapies discussed in this manual refer to a substance abuse treatment setting - the techniques learned are applicable across many health domains.

2. Identify the components of a Brief Intervention
